Holiday
Hello everyone, I have some great news that doesn't involve cancer :)
On Sat we booked our trip.....12 nights sailing the South Pacific on Rhapsody of the seas in Nov.
No kids...just me and hubby (kids are 21 and 18) so they can fend for themselves.
We need to get away from the world of cancer and all that it involves, and rediscover each other.
I will miss my babies and my fur babies, but I'm so excited and it's sooooo nice to focus on something else.
Hope everyone is doing ok, and remember miracles do happen.

Hello everyone
Just wanted to let you all know I have finishied chemo
And I got my scans back today and they are stable again woo hoo so happy!!!! I start on Femara tomorrow
And hopefully it's not too nasty.

Strength
Hello all thought it was time to let you know I'm still going strong YAY !!!!
I have 3 of 12 chemos left,and it appears to be working
Last scan showed STABLE !!!!!!
This is my new favourite word :)
Doc is very happy.
My hair got really thin,so I shaved it all off,and this time I don't cover up when I go out.
My confidence is back.I brought some big bright earrings and I embrace my baldness.

So it begins again
Well my worst nightmare has come true :(
Saw my Doc today and it appears I now have mets to my lung and liver and have to start chemo again,I'm numb,but I will fight with all my might,it's not going to win!!!! It's been caught very early and I have alot of options left,this is by no means the end......

The day started well with a planned visit to my onc,
and I come out of his office in tears,my tumor marker is high and I have a lump in the other breast,so now begins a barrage of tests starting tomorrow with a bone scan.Monday CT scan and Tues mammo and ultrasound.I had mammo and ultrasound in Feb and they were good and bloods were good 5 months ago,so maybe if there is more cancer we got it early?????
I'm devastated do I have to do it all again?
My daughter is also sitting HSC at the moment so I have keep details to a minimum.I can barely function,I just don't know what to think.......
Rads finishied
Yesterday I had my last rad,I'm glad it's all over now.
I was spoilt by my family with a beautiful lunch,near the beach,even had a glass of bubbles to celebrate,and then my hubby brought me a puppy,only 9 weeks old
I have wanted a puppy for years,so Im very happy :)
Sad :(
Feeling a bit sad today just found out that a friend has
Been diagnosed with Undifferiated Sarcoma in her
Heart and her prognosis is not good at all.
She's only 45,it's just not fair :(

Hello everyone :)I'm new to this blogging thing so I hope I get it right.I'm starting 5 weeks of radiotheraphy on Tues,hope it won't be as bad as chemo was.
I'm looking for some new friends,to share this roller coaster ride that is our life at the moment :)
