Deborah, my breast care nurse, was so kind and caring, she would drain my arm at any time of day, and even opened the hospital up, one Sunday lunchtime, to drain my arm because I was in so much pain.
Since then she has looked after me. Keeping me informed, even when she was so busy. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
Last September I had an infection on the scar on my left breast, which got better with three weeks of antibiotics.
Then two months ago it got infected again, but had to be operated on to clear it for good. She was always there for me, to dress it if needed. I have had District Nursing coming to dress it too.
Deborah also had time to help my husband who has prostate cancer, she helped him to feel much better. She really is a lovely person.
