Ladies, it is time to show off your georgous face with a colorful hat. Not the time to be shy, but time to shine. Time to feel the Brightness of your soul and strength. Put on bright red lipstic and checky earings to match that hat you have always wanted. Spend big $$ on one must have hat that you will wear all Summer, then supplement it with cheaper ones that you might where occassionally & variety.

Sydney has been freezing in the pass week, I went through my wardrobe and took all my hats out. Don't have time to try them on at the time or look into the mirror with my young kids around. But I am sure I "feel" gorgeous.

Having Chemotherapy was like giving birth again, except the child was ME. Started with no hair, and no eyebrows, I learnt to be come an artist with daily practice on "drawing" my eyebrows and funky headwear. Money saved on waxing products and hairdressor visits - buys a lot of scarfs and eyebrow pencils!!! The make-up artist in you will previal with patience.

Just got back from our family holiday with kids ... lucky me!! If you are in chemo journey, make sure you plan a holiday / weekend away 3 weeks after your last chemo, because it time for you to celebrate!! And if you are in the middle of your radiation treatment, do the same! As one of my friend always say treat everyday like Christmas. Also take advantage of the Aussie $$$$$$$$$$$ (wish I can pay my plastic surgeon in USD or Yens)

Having one boob after my mastectomy was daunting, how the -*&* I have going to hide this from my kids??! (they were to young to know) Yes scarf, bright one – even in the hospital. A great way to hid my drains with a cute tote bag which carries my drain.

I achieved my very first milestone last night. I had my very first L-plate Stylists social night at my house with 10 gal friends. This is just a test run for my "give back a little" project I had in mind since my chemotherapy. The idea is that I will offer my services to ladies in POWH (nsw) who are going through cancer, and who would like to learn to be a L-plate stylist like me!
