Travel
I'm planning a trip to America later this year & while I'm away my monthly triptorelin injection will be due. My nurse at the hospital says she can give me the drug and needle to take and a letter for customs and I just need to find a doctor or nurse to give me the injection.
My sister in America has been checking with her GP and it all seems a bit difficult due to me not having insurance and since the drug is part of a trial they're unsure if it would be FDA approved.
Has anyone had any experience with this situation?

This is my first time on this network. My recent bone scan has shown 2 possible fractured ribs on the left side- where I had extensive radiotherapy. Now my oncologist needs to find the cause. CT scan tomorrow. Can those with similar experiences give me some guidance on what to expect?
Pagets Disease
I was diagnosed with Pagets Disease of the nipple early Oct and had a Mastectomy on 25th Nov. I was wondering if any others have had the same diagnosis as I understand it is not common.
Zometa
Sorry, at 62, I'm not really au-fait with blogs etc. but couldn't see any other way of asking my question. I have been taking Arimidex & Bondronat without obvious side-effects (slightly greater tendency to have hot-flushes but not severe) but was finding the "rules" for taking Bondronat annoying (waiting the half hour meant I started doing other things and would almost forget the Arimidex). I decided to try the infusion Zometa, thinking once a month would be much easier than a daily tablet.
