System update complete
Hi all,
Just to let you know that we made a code update today that should help with the problem we've been experiencing with the site being slow.
You should notice an improvement with page-load times. In particular, when making posts or leaving comments.
For those who are interested, we've implemented some database caching, so you may notice a slight delay before some things appear when posted.
If anyone notices anything unusual, or experiences problems, please let me know by leaving a comment here. We'll be monitoring this post.

IMPORTANT: Planned network update
Hi all,
Just to let you know we are planning to make an update to the site either later today or first thing tomorrow, so the site may be offline for a short while at that time.
Included in the update are a number of small bug-fixes, and some new code. We're aware that the site has slowed down a bit over the last couple of weeks and hopefully this will address that issue.
