Pink Golf Day 2012

News | 25 September 2012

With so many keen golfers in our BCNA membership, we are excited to launch our first ever Pink Golf Day. If you are a golf lover or involved in your local club, you can encourage the club to register for Pink Golf Day.

Pink Golf Day will see Golf clubs around Australia pinking up during October to raise funds and awareness for BCNA.

‘Pink Golf Day is a wonderful initiative. Our golf club holds a Pink Day every year; all the ladies wear pink for a donation to show support for women affected by breast cancer. I love seeing everyone get involved and enjoy a great day that is so easy to organise- we decorate the course and with Pink Ladies. ’ Sarah, BCNA Member, NSW.

The PGA of Australia is proud to support this new BCNA initiative and will be encouraging golf clubs across the country to get involved.

Pink Golf Day will be a chance for clubs to pink up and show their support for, and pay tribute to, women from their local communities who have been affected by breast cancer. It’s free for clubs to participate and clubs will be sent a free event pack to help pink up the club.

The official Pink Golf Day will take place on Sunday 28 October 2012, but your club can choose any day in October to participate if that day doesn't suit your schedule.
