With the great friendships being formed here in the network, and so much of the country affected by floods, cyclones and fires over the last few months, there's been quite a lot of checking in to make sure everyone is okay.

So -- let's use this social network we have to help us out.   If you'd like to leave a message in a central place to let everyone know how you're doing, or just tell a story of how you're dealing with the cleanup, then leave a comment here on this post.

I'll make it a featured post for the next few days or so, so that it's easy to find.

Yasi

Hiya All

Well we survived Yasi relatively well with just the loss of trees, power,  and some property damage.  it was really scary and have never experienced anything like that before and we dont even live on the coast!!

Glad to be back, we were without power for a while, so couldnt check in, but am slowly catching up with everyone now.

Hope you are all well and hope that we have seen the end of the floods, fires and cyclones for a while.

Glad to be back

Tanya

Glad to hear you and the family are safe and well and hopefully dry now :-)

We got a visit from the tail end of Yasi in Melbourne on Friday night!  We had a lot of rain and wind. Nothing like you experienced but there was a lot of flooding and roads closed. This weather is crazy!

Glad to have you back, and to hear you got through it okay. You'd think where you are, that you'd be well out of the path of cyclones, wouldn't you?!

welcome back buddy
