Meetings are held at the Nelson Bay Bowling Club from 7.00pm on the first Monday in the month (February through to December).
In edition a morning tea for patients and members is held at Depz Restaurant, Magnus St, Nelson Bay, on the last Thursday each month from 10.00am (February through to November).

A little bit about us...
Tomaree peninsula is located within the Port Stephens area. It does not have a hospital where chemotherapy and radiotherapy are available. For treatment breast cancer patients must go to Newcastle, which is close to an hour's drive away.
We provide free of charge grass-roots support for:
- Transport to and from all appointments in Newcastle and Maitland (or locally)
- House cleaning after mastectomy
- Lawn mowing
- Wigs and surgical sleeves
- Underarm cushions for any patients
- Any other help required
As the Tomaree Breast Cancer Support Group Inc is a non-profit organisation which does not receive any government financial assistance, it relies on the generosity of its local community to raise funds. We hold two major fundraisers per year.
These are:
- Big Breakfast: held at the Nelson Bay Bowling Club on the third Wednesday in October
- Golf Charity Day: held at the Nelson Bay Golf Club on the fourth Tuesday in November
