A little bit about us...

Bosom Buddies Inc consists of women who have experienced the uncertainty of breast cancer, either personally or through a loved one.  We have a subscribed membership of about 110 members at any given time.  Our active volunteers visit patients in hospital through a hospital-sponsored program coordinated with Breast Care Nurses; these volunteers often provide ongoing buddies.

We sponsor workshops for new patients to learn about local support groups (including BCNA) and to build support networks.  We also sponsor workshops for those diagnosed with the gene for breast and ovarian cancer.  Bosom Buddies also hosts monthly morning teas and after work gatherings, sponsors Christmas in July and ABC Day dinners each year. 

We conduct a Breast Awareness education program for interested social, educational and business groups across our region.
