I understand there will be set backs but I have so many wonderful things and people in my life my intention is to give it my all when I can. Although last week I dropped out for two days......
IBC in WA
Hi to all IBC comrades. I was diagnosed in Sept 2012 have undergone the chemo to reduce the margins, have had the mascetomy and lymth nodes removed and now onto more chemo and radiotherapy for the rest of 2013. There is so little information, educational awareness etc in WA that most people have never heard of IBC. My mission over here is to educate and hopefully body willing I will accomplish this project. If anyone can assist in more info etc love to hear from you. Its no picnic but onwards, upwards.
Secondary bone cancer
Hi all
I have recently been diagnosed with IBC only to discover the very next day it had also spread to my bones and after the bone density scan they have informed me it's very widespread. Well I just can't begin to describe how I felt and how I'm still trying to come to terms with it all as its only been a matter of weeks.
I've commenced my chemo TAC (6 x 3) and just had my second round. Its not really agreeing with my digestive system but I'm managing ok.
