Hi. My name is Ruth. I was diagnosed 7 Months after my Mother died from Breast Cancer. Praise God. That was thirteen years ago. I had three tumours and had Chemotherapy, Radium and take Arimidex. I have had a small lump in my other breast and am checked by ultrasound every six months. Thankfully, it has not grown. As I tested positive for the braca 2 gene, I feel very grateful to be alive. Sadly, my Daughter also tested postive to the gene and is checked regularly. I pray that she will not be inflicted. My Gran-Daugh

The BCNA kit's and information has been the best thing. I also use it when I give talks about my journey and the Chicks 'n Pink at the Mater Brisbane have been life savers.
I have just discovered this blog and after looking at the online groups - this one looks like the one for me so I have just joined! I don't have Facebook or Twitter.
Not very clever with the Internet so I might need some assistance. xx V
hi there
Hi Ladies, just thought I would love to join your group. I was diagnosed 6 years ago, and am very thankful to be alive. Of course the journey has/and is bumpy, but plainly would love to share and pray with you all.
Just diagnosed
I was diagnosed on 23 march, since then I've had a core biopsy under MRI, then lump removed, then genetics testing. I'm waiting for results in order to make a decision for my long term future. I am separated and have a 5 yr old son, and I work full time. I've been blessed, because the cancer has been found early. My mother died from breast cancer at 55. I'm 47.
