Our face to face support group consists of 20 members who have all been through breast cancer. We have been meeting socially since 2002 with a lunch meeting set fortnightly.

I am a 37 yo Mummy to a 2 year old and was diagnosed with breast cancer in Jul 21012 (6cm, spread to neck nodes, triple neg and tested brca2 positive).
I live in the local area and would be interested in connecting, Especially for the face to face group.

Hi Everyone,
I have just joined the group and wanted to introduce myself.
Im 56 years of age and was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer (bone metastises) in November 2011. Previous to this i was diagnosed with two lots of different breast cancer and treatment consisted of a double masectomy, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and hormonal therapy tablets.
I am still learning how to deal and cope with the diagnosis of "Secondary Breast Cancer" which is why i have joined this group to meet and talk with people who are in a similar situation.

Hello Gals,
I am new to your group. About time some of you posted something here too, if only to let some other gals know what you are doing. :p
I am looking forward to meeting you at the next meeting in Liverpool. I have lost track of the date though, please don't tell me it is today. I think it is next wednesday 3rd August, isn't it??
By then I will have seen the Radiologist at the hospital and will know more about when/how my treatment will be.
