Ridgley Thinks Pink
I have recently held my first Field of Women event, with the help of a BCNA rep in my area. Still going through treatment I felt our small community who have been so supportive, needed a little more education and awareness of BCNA. We held our event in the gardens of THE HOMESTEAD, one of the oldest houses in Ridgley Tas, situated right beside the highway. Our field was low key but many motorists stopped or slowed down to see what all the pink was about.
First mini field event
Am well on way to planning my very first 'mini field', in partnership with local women's health service. It will be a low key event, held outside local council building, we are inviting staff from council as well as nearby commmunity services to attend. Am looking forward to marking October Breast Cancer Awareness month in the Blue Mountains.
Mini Field
Hi All, planning our Mini Field this year, combining with our local Curves gym to do an October breast awareness and have members decorate bras and promote BCNA:) hoping our Breast Cancer Support Group will hold a Mini Field at the local market day.
mini feild
Hi all,
Starting to plan for mini feild. I am hoping to have it on McKillops Bridge (I need to find out about if I need a permit) My vision is to have the sillouettes along the railings of the bridge and have a byo picnic on the day. Keep you in touch of how things are going.
Take care, Rikki
mini fields of women event
Hello all,
My name is Anna and my partner and I run Annie's Cedar Farm Cottages in Upper Plenty.
We have decided this is the year to have a mini fields of women day. It will be held on one of our farm hills in Upper Plenty.
The views are absolutely gorgeous, almost like touching heaven so we thought why not bring awareness of cancer on this hill.
Talking with locals and networking, we have come to realise, noone has done this in our area before. We are hoping to have hundreds come out.
