About us
For those diagnosed, carers, children. anyone who needs support. online/in person support. https://www.facebook.com/groups/165821703545831/members/Our Story
Mostly filled with young women diagnosed with Breast Cancer that want to make a difference, this facebook group was started in the hope that it would grow and that no matter the age or your role in the Breast Cancer Journey you would have somewhere to meet other people local to you that you could talk to.
Also a nice place to meet people to branch off into smaller specific Support groups (example: carers support etc) to help support you, on your journey. Also a great way to find out events happening around Victoria...
No age limit. We just ask that you bring a helpful, friendly attitude.
Monthly Meeting.
We are planning on making our 'Craft Day' a monthly event located at a ladies house in Scoresby Victoria. All Craft products provided. You can relax while doing some craft or just come to chat to the other ladies. This event is open to all those diagnosed, kids, carers... Anyone who needs support. So feel free to come along. Please see our Facebook group for details or Message me... :-)
Will be the 3rd Saturday of every month at 1pm.
next craft day will be 21/7/2012

Morning tea for Young Women with Breast Cancer - Melbourne
Message from the Think Pink Living Centre in Melbourne : - During the month of May we have had some wonderful group sessions. A group of young women diagnosed with breast Cancer the “Pink Sisters” met at the Living Centre for a morning Tea. The group consisted of about 12 young women who had connected through a Facebook group for young women with breast cancer.
NEW GROUP
Just thought I'd let you all know I created this new group to link to the one I have going on FaceBook. Its for Victoria people. Those diagnosed, carers, children, siblings. Anyone who just needs support during this Breast Cancer Journey.
If you dont have Facebook thats ok - I will try and remember (chemo brain) to update when we have an event coming up or a particulary interesting blog I think you may all like.
There are no boundaries in the group, no age limits, we just ask that you come with a friendly attitude and help others as others help you.
