Congratulations to everyone who participated in the Sussan Women's Fun Run 2011 on Sunday 4 December at Catani Gardens, St Kilda. It was a fantastic day with a record number of 5,154 women participating in either the 5km or 10km run/walk.
An amazing fundraising effort
BCNA was once again the official charity partner for the Sussan Women's Fun Run where participants had the opportunity to set up their own personalised fundraising page and raise funds for BCNA.
This year there were over 300 individuals and teams who contributed to raising over $87,000. Fantastic!
The money raised will help BCNA in our work to ensure that women diagnosed with breast cancer and their families receive the very best information, treatment, care and support possible -- no matter who they are or where they live.
We are very grateful to everyone who supported BCNA by raising money for us and would especially like to thank the Cos We Care team who raised over $6,373! It was wonderful to meet so many of the women doing the Fun Run at the BCNA Marquee and it was particularly inspiring to meet breast cancer survivors who took part in the event.
