About the day

Pink Footy & Netball Day is a great way for sporting communities to pay tribute to Australians affected by breast cancer. Celebrated over Mothers Day weekend, football and netball clubs from all across Australia 'pink up' their matches and raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

How to get involved

Registrations for Pink Footy & Netball Day will be open in February 2012. Upon registering, your club you will be sent a free pack that contains a range of promotional items required to run your event. Participation is open to any team from any state.

Pink footballs and netballs will be available for purchase, along with a wide range of fun pink items to wear. There will be the option to sell merchandise at your event with all proceeds going to support the work of BCNA.

Clubs also have the option to raise additional funds and awareness for BCNA by organising activities such as sausage sizzles, raffles, fundraising evenings, or by hosting an auction featuring a prized pink ball!

Pink Footy & Netball Day is a very special opportunity to support and pay tribute to local breast cancer survivors within your community, and to raise funds for BCNA so get excited and get involved!

Save the Date!

For now, the most important thing to do is speak with your club and make sure they add this event to their sporting fixture. Remember Pink Footy & Netball Day is celebrated on Mother's Day weekend 12-13 May 2012!
