Another successful Blackmores Sydney Running Festival
Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) was delighted to once again be one of the Official Supporter Charities for the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival held on Sunday 18 September 2011.
We would like to congratulate everyone who participated in the Running Festival this year. The sun was shining brightly as the 35,000 participants ran, jogged or walked over the Sydney Harbour Bridge competing in four separate courses as part of the Festival - from a full marathon to a 4km bridge run.

Thanks to the amazing support of the participants who selected to fundraise for BCNA we raised over $60,000!
We were thrilled to be able to meet many of our fundraisers on the day and thank them for their extraordinary efforts.
There was a fantastic atmosphere with lots of participants 'pinked up' for the event.

We would like to especially thank our dedicated BCNA volunteers who were up bright and early and kept very busy handing out bottled water to participants as they crossed the finish line at the Opera House.
