The Hope & Hurdles Pack is BCNA's new resource for women with secondary breast cancer.

It  will be launched in each State and Territory around Australia from July 2007. ‘Harnessing Hope ~ Overcoming Hurdles', our forums for women with secondary breast cancer, and a beautiful Hope & Hurdles photographic exhibition will accompany the launch events.

The Hope & Hurdles Pack for women with secondary breast cancer is the result of extensive consultations with women, and with those who treat and care for them.

The Pack contains a number of individual items; booklets, brochures, magazines and CDs that offer information, support and hope for women and their families, packaged within a soft plastic satchel, including:

	Hope & Hurdles Information Guide  A large booklet of information about treatments, support options, useful contacts and resources and lots of practical suggestions from other women living with secondary breast cancer. It is designed for women at all stages of their secondary breast cancer experience,  to ‘dip into' as needed.
	Hope & Hurdles Personal Record  A handbag sized booklet for women to note their medical history and treatment, side effects, questions for doctors, calendars, medical expenses etc, in the one place.
	Messages of Hope and Inspiration for Women with Advanced Breast Cancer A booklet offering inspiration from other women who have ‘been there'. see more
	She Has Secondary Breast Cancer - How Can I Support Her? This brochure helps partners, relatives or friends understand secondary breast cancer and how they can support women while taking care of themselves.
	Hope & Hurdles Photographic Catalogue A booklet featuring the varied lives of the women whose faces appear throughout the Information Guide.
	When the Woman You Love has Advanced Breast Cancer Produced by the National Breast Cancer Centre, this CD is designed for male partners, although others may also find it helpful.
	Guided Meditations - Grace and Courage A meditation CD with gospel music -for the soul
