My Care Kit FAQs: for Health Professionals Print E-mail
How does a health professional enrol in this program, to order the My Care Kit for women who have had breast cancer surgery?

To enrol please complete the enrolment page . An email will be sent to you to confirm your enrolment. The email will also include your User ID and password, which you will need to access the online ordering system.

How do I order My Care Kits for women?
  • ONLINE - to place your order online visit www.bcna.org.au, click on Newly Diagnosed, My Care Kit  and Order My Care Kit and then follow the instructions sent to you.
  • FAX - complete the Order Form included in the 'Guidelines for ordering the My Care Kit'  booklet you received when you enrolled and faxing it to (03) 9805 2599.
How do I receive a User ID and password for ordering online?

Once enrolled in the program, you will be given a User ID and temporary password to order online. You will need to change this password to a personal one when you log into the system for the first time. Refer to page 4 in the 'Guidelines for ordering the My Care Kit'  booklet.

What do I do if I forget my User ID and/or password?

If you have forgotten your User ID and/or password, please follow these instructions:

  • Go to the ‘Place My Care Kit' order page on BCNA's website
  • Click on ‘Forgot User ID/Password' under the login button.
  • Enter your email address in the box provided.

Your User ID and password will then be immediately sent to your email address.

What does the My Care Kit contain?

Each My Care Kit contains one Berlei bra and a soft form/s (if required).

Are soft forms included with every My Care Kit?

No. You must specify how many soft form/s are required.

How many orders can I place?

Once enrolled in the program, you are entitled to order one My Care Kit for each woman who has had breast cancer surgery.

How long will it take to receive the My Care Kit after I place the order?

Orders for My Care Kits are despatched each Friday morning. Orders must be received by Thursday to be included in the Friday delivery.  Orders received after Thursday will be despatched on Friday of the following week.

Are My Care Kits sent directly to women who have had surgery for breast cancer?

The My Care Kit can either be sent directly to the woman or sent to the nurse to give to the woman.

Can women order My Care Kits themselves?

No, orders can only be placed by Breast Care Health Professionals enrolled in the My Care Kit program.  Women can however purchase additional My Care Kits (see below).

Can women purchase additional Berlei bras?

Yes. If a woman, who has received a My Care Kit, wishes to purchase additional bras she can do so at a cost of $24.95 (inc GST and postage).  Each My Care Kit contains a Purchase Order Form which the woman can complete and return directly to BCNA, by fax (if paying by credit card) to (03) 9805 2599 or by mail to:

What do I do if the My Care Kit bra does not fit?

We offer a replacement service whereby the unworn bra (with tags attached) can be returned and exchanged for the correct size. Simply return the bra, including your contact details, the name of the patient, and the correct size they require, and we will arrange a replacement to be sent within seven days. Returns can be mailed to:

Can I order a fitting kit to help determine correct sizing and to show my patients?

Yes. Fitting kits are available, free of charge, to health professionals enrolled in the My Care Kit program. The fitting kit includes a sample of each My Care Kit bra size, with detailed fitting and measuring guidelines, assembled in a carry bag. The kit will help you estimate the correct size for women before ordering their My Care Kit bras.
