The Field of Women – Live in 2005 was simply amazing. For those of us there on the night it was an extraordinary mixture of celebration and sadness. 11,500 women and 100 men brought the breast cancer statistics to life in powerful and stunning visual display. We raised the awareness of breast cancer across our country, reaching people who haven’t previously known about its impact. We also raised $230,000 for our ongoing work.
Thank you to those who came, wore pink, stood up, and were counted ,and to those who sent messages of support. We have received hundreds of letters, emails and photos from participants. The best ways we can communicate about the Field to those who weren’t there is to share some of the stories, speeches and photos from the night.
