Australians diagnosed with breast cancer and their families receive optimal treatment, care and support, appropriate to their individual needs and wishes.
Mission
Breast Cancer Network Australia will inform, empower, represent and link together Australians personally affected by breast cancer. We will:
- inform women using a wide range of well-researched resources, directly or by referral to other appropriate agencies.
- empower women to have a voice in their own health care and to play an active role in improving breast cancer treatment, care and services.
- represent Australians affected by breast cancer in the health care system, scientific community, media and wider public.
- be driven by women who have themselves experienced breast cancer and link together individuals and groups sharing similar issues and experiences.
